Applying for IAEA Technical Cooperation Funding for WNU programmes
The IAEA supports a limited number of selected candidates through their IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme. The final selected applicants from IAEA Member States will be contacted by the IAEA and requested to submit the nomination to the IAEA through the established official channels.
Only the selected final selected candidates that have been endorsed and officially nominated by their competent authorities are subject to financial support for their participation. More information will be shared by the IAEA to final selected candidates.

How to Apply
Apply to the WNU Programme

Select programme of interest and click ‘Register.’ An external registration form will open in a new window. Please read the registration requirements carefully to ensure you have prepared all the relevant information and documents before starting your application. For a list of the required information, click here.

Once you have read the requirements, select ‘New Registration.’

Select ‘Candidate seeking IAEA funding.’

Complete the rest of the application form and submit it. Make sure to print a copy of your registration application for your records. Applicants will receive an email confirmation once they have successfully submitted their completed applications.

Applicants will hear back from WNU about the status of their application (selection or rejection) roughly five weeks after the application deadline closes.
Furthermore, IAEA will also contact final selected candidates subject to potential IAEA funding, to guide them through IAEA endorsement process.
Only the final selected candidates that have been endorsed and officially nominated by their competent authorities are subject to financial support for their participation.
